Uhhps, schon wieder Samstag / Saturday?

Ich hatte diese Woche soviel vor und jetzt weiß ich gar nicht, wo die Zeit hin ist. Geht es euch auch manchmal so?
Da hat man tausend Sachen im Kopf und bis man dann die Kinder versorgt, die Hausaufgaben betreut und waschen und putzen, kochen und den Einkauf erledigt hat, ist der Tag oft wieder vorbei und das Handarbeiten wird auf morgen verschoben.
Immerhin bin ich dank des Fußballspiels am Donnerstag und heute im Fernsehen mit meiner Häkeldecke ein gutes Stück weiter gekommen. Die Quadrtate sind alle zusammengehäkelt, jetzt muß ich nur noch den roten Rand ausenherum fertig stellen und die Fäden vernähen.

I had so much plans for this week, and now, I`m wondering where time is gone? Do you feel the same way, sometimes?
Having a lot of things in mind and after looking for the kids, controlling their homework and learning for school, washing and cleaning the house, cooking and visiting the supermarket, the day is over so fast and you put crafting off for tomorrow.
Anyway, thanks to a soccer match on TV on Thursday eve and today morning, I get a bit foreward with my crotched blanked. All squares are crotched together and I only had to frame it with some rows off red wool and sew up the loose ends.

Heute bin ich in der Halbzeitpause schnell im Wollladen an der Ecke gewesen und habe noch etwas Nachschub gekauft. Helene war dabei und hat mich beschwatzt, diese Wolle mitzunehmen. Das ist Sockenwolle mit lauter kleinen Noppen drin, ist von Regia und heißt "Pompom".

At halftime during the match today, I was in the woolstore at the corner of our street for some fresh supplies of red wool. Helene joined me and forced my to buy two balls of this new sock yarn from Regia. It`s called "Pompom" and has tiny little knobs.
Vorletzte Woche habe ich auch mal wieder Wolle gefärbt und neugierig, wie ich bin, mußte ich auch diesen Strang gleich anstricken, um zu sehen, wie er rauskommt.
Bei Ewa habe ich zum ersten Mal davon gelesen, die Ferse mit einem extra Faden zu stricken um das Muster nicht zu unterbrechen und ich dachte mir, wenn schon, denn schon, dann auch gleich Kontrastfarben, damit die Ferse richtig leuchtet.

The week before last I dyed some wool and curious as I am, I started knitting socks wondering how it comes out.
At Ewas blog, I´ve read about knitting the heel with a different thread, so the design won`t be interrupted. I thought, this one would make a good contrast.
An der Nähmaschine ist eine kleine Tasche entsanden, als Anschaungsobjekt für einen Workshop, den ich im Oktober hier gebe.
Jetzt muß ich noch eine Yogamattentasche kreieren, ich habe da schon eine Idee im Kopf.

I also made a bag as a sample for a workshop I will do in Oktober on this place. Now, I have to create a Yoga bag. Have some ideas in mind, we will see.
